communicates to any other person or publishes information concerning the Forces wulen would or might be airectly or inuirectly useful to tne enemy; or who receives suca information and fails promptly to report the same to the nearest military authority;

or

except under and in accordance with a permit, licence or authority issued by an officer of ine Civil Affairs Service, nas in is possession any wireless telegraphy apparatus; or

steals, or wilfully destroys, damages, removes or tampers with anything, in whosesoever ownership or custoay the same may be, proviueu 101, or used, or intended to be used for or by the Furces or tre community, or for the operation or maintenance of any public service whatsoever; including (without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing words) any food, illuminant, fuel (whether liquia or otherwise), or lubricant, and anything providea for, or used or intended to be used for the operation or maintenance of any transport by lano, sea or air, or of any communications by any means, or for the supply of water, gas, electric ligat or power,

Small on conviction be punished with imprisonment for a term not exceeding seven years, or with a line not exceeding three thousand dollars, or with botn suen imprisonment and sucn fine.

(3) Any person who -

(a)

does any act calculated falsely to suggest that he is acting under the autority of ɩne Military Administration or any Officer tnereof; or

impedes or interferes with the arrest or assists in the escape of any person about to be arrested under the authority of the British Military Administration;

or

(c)

aisseminate orally or otherwise an, false rumour calculated to spread alarm, despond ney or uisaffection among the population;

or

(a)

steals any properly of the Forces or any member thereof of the aggregate value of which does not exceed one thousand dollars; or

(e)

buys, exchange, takes in pawn, detains or receives from any person, on any pretence whatsoever, or solicits or entices any person to sell, exchange, pawil or give away, or assist or acts for any person in selling, exchanging, pawning, or making away witn or nas in nis possession or under nis control, any arms, ammunition, equipments, instrumenos,
